Bârsana…

EN: This is my last post about my journey through Maramureș. Another place that I visited during the trip was Bârsana Monastery which is a lovely place filled with peace and silence. Passing through a beautiful taditional gate the alley goes to the monastery and the proper entrance is made passing through the great Tower and then you can see the beautiful monastery which bursts to the sky, and not long ago was the tallest wood monastery from the world. If you have the opportunity I really recommend you to visit this beautiful place. All in all Romania is a wonderful country, at least geographically speaking, with such beautiful places from mountains to sea, lakes, rivers, the Danube and other wild places. So let’s be proud of these things and try to discover them. Romania, I’m not ashamed to say „I love you”!

RO: Aceasta este ultima mea postare despre călătoria mea prin Maramureș. Un alt loc vizitat pe durata excursiei a fost Mănăstirea Bârsana care este un loc plin de pace și liniște. Trecând pe sub o frumoasa poartã maramureșană, se răsucește în sus aleea care duce lin spre mănăstire; intrarea în incinta propriu-zisã se face pe sub semețul Turn – clopotniță, dincolo de care, pe partea dreaptă, biserica tâșnește mladioasã spre cer – până nu demult, cea mai înaltă biserica de lemn din lume. Dacă aveți ocazia vă rog să vizitați acest loc frumos. Toate ca toate, dar România este o țară frumoasă, cel puțin geografic vorbind, cu locuri frumoase de la munți la mare, lacuri, râuri, deltă și alte locuri sălbatice. Așa că să fim mândri de lucrurile astea și să încercăm să le descoperim. România, nu îmi este rușine să spun că te iubesc!
